Burpengary is known for its leafy surrounds and the masterplan for Sage has been created with a focus on delivering leading environmental outcomes. Sage will offer a vibrant mix of homesites nestled amongst nature, with over 7.5 hectares of environmental corridor forming the central green hub of the community.
Green space represents over 30% of the overall site, including the seven-hectare ecological corridor and an 8,100sqm recreational parkland. In addition to the existing native bushland, an extensive $1 million replanting program will rehabilitate the environmental corridor for local wildlife.
The new community will transform and rehabilitate 14 private properties, including a nursery, orchard and many home-based commercial activities (including sawmill, car restoration and horse stabling), into a variety of new housing, while preserving the green space for flora and fauna and providing access for the whole community to enjoy.
